Ashley Awakea Lindsey

 for Maui Nui

Candidate for Maui County Council
Wailuku | Waiehu| Waiheʻe | Waikapū

Aloha Maui Nui,

I’m Ashley Awakea Lindsey, and I’m running for Maui County Council to represent the Wailuku, Waiehu, Waiheʻe, and Waikapū communities.

As a mother and lifelong Maui resident, I feel an urgent calling to step forward and serve during this critical time for our county. Maui Nui is at a turning point. The decisions made in the coming years will shape the future of our island home for the next generation and beyond.

I’m running because I believe local families should be able to stay home, raise their children here, and thrive in the communities that raised us. Too many of our families are being forced to move away, and we need leadership that understands the real challenges our people are facing.

The future of Maui Nui should be guided by the people of Maui Nui. We need leaders who will listen, lead with integrity, and make decisions with the whole county in mind — from housing and infrastructure to cultural preservation, economic stability, and the long-term well-being of our communities.

This campaign is about protecting the place we love, honoring the people who call Maui County home, and working together to build a future where our families can live, stay, and thrive here for generations to come.

I humbly ask for your support this election season. Please share my message with your ʻohana, friends, neighbors, and community. Make sure you are registered to vote, stay informed, and cast your vote for me, Ashley Awakea Lindsey, on the ballot in the upcoming Primary Election on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

There are many ways to be part of this campaign. Whether you are able to sign wave, volunteer, donate, host conversations, or simply lend a helping hand, every bit of support matters. This campaign will take all of us — standing together, speaking up, and working for the future of Maui Nui.

Together, we can hold our communities and ʻohana up during these times and help shape a stronger future for our people, our families, and our home.
